The world is obsessed with Facebook
An informational motion graphics piece by Alex Trimpe Music by RJD2 Info provided by onlineschools.org
Is it fairer to say that we're not obsessed by FB, but we use FB to share our obsessions? It's what FB lets people do (for better or worse) that makes it popular. After the initial thrill of learning FB, you're more into the content than the software. IMHO, anyway!
Bill. I think you are spot-on. FB gives us a bully pulpit from which we can announce our obsessions, passions, interests and desires. As you say, it is a medium; what we do with it reflects who we are.
