Under the Sea
"Just look at the world around you
Right here on the ocean floor
Such wonderful things surround you
What more is you lookin' for?"
Google maps the ocean floor! No watery equivalent to street views yet, but Google Earth now has detailed maps that go beneath the ocean surface! Wow! The maps of the oceans are the result of a 3 year collaboration with NOAA, U.S. Navy, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, the Japan Hydrographic Organization, Scripps Institute of Oceanography and General Bathymetric Chart of the Oceans.
Future iterations with views of historical changes to the planet are also planned. That'll be cool!
