International Children's Digital Library
What a dry name for a fun site. This is a product of the University of Maryland's Human-Computer Interaction Lab where they study, among other things, effective visualization on the Web. Try this site where 592 children's books can be searched by keyword (language works), location, length, color -wild search interface! Then the display is amazing -try the comic book and spiral displays. LINK
