Community College Blogs
I have found a number of academic library blogs and a few community college library blogs such Springfield Technical Community College Library http://library.stcc.edu/blogger/blogger.html
Anyone know of any Florida community colleges with blogs?
Man, they cover everything there! I think that is a possible pitfall for us to watch out for (sorry, Lucy: a pitfall out for which we should watch). That blog carries such a mish-mash of information it makes it hard to pick out the relevant stuff. They cover everything from operating hours, to a ten-best list, to calendar notifications, to something about Harry Potter.
As we think about blogging, we need to be aware of that trap and target our discussions. There is nothing wrong with a "chat" blog. However, a more targeted approach is need for more informative blogging.
