Why the internet is no substitute for the library
Not sure I agree with every point (especially #6), but some good points here...
I think someone attributed this list to an ALA publication from 2001, hence why some of the information is out of date (#6) and that it seems antiquated.
I like the sentiment but I feel that this is so old it actually does more harm than good when explaining the virtues of a library.
I haven't read the book reffed in the post (http://bit.ly/ekY9pz), but Seth Godin attributes it to that work which carries a pub date of 2007. Still, even that is ancient by internet standards.
