Do not cut the library's buggets, or else!!

A few weeks ago The Village Voice published a series of letters (viewable here) written by a wonderful little girl to Mayor Bloomberg protesting the proposed deep cuts in The New York Public Library's budget. After the suggestion to "focus on what she liked about libraries rather than issuing vague threats to Mayor Bloomberg," the girl revised her approach, but also stated "I don't take any BS." I just love her!

A few days ago The Voice announced that partially due to her efforts word came from Angela Montefinise, PR director of the NYPL, that the library has had its funding largely restored in the newly adopted New York City budget.

Initial story at the above link, and the conclusion is here.
